ISolated INcident : Dane Cook

I was fortunate to see this in person while I was in Tampa, FL which was the FIRST show he did of these new set of jokes and what not and it was funny as hell watching it a second time was just as funny. Dane Cook did this particular special in the LA based Laugh Factory. He decided to tape this one because it was a more intimate setting and shown how much he grown as a comedian. He took a while off and in that time off lost both his mom and his dad to cancer. He talks about these things a lot of the stuff he spoke about was personal but nonetheless still funny. The CD & DVD come out on Tuesday, May 19th so if you want get it I highly recommend Dane is definitely my favorite comedian.

I am having a RELAPSE !

Well I wasn't really planing on doing this but whatever I'm bored and my mind is telling me to. In my last post I was talking about Eminem's latest album "Relapse" which I downloaded but WILL purchase May 19th because he is my favorite artist and with this album in my opinion retains his title in my book. I was a little afraid that this album wouldn't live up to my expectations(fuck everyone elses) but he's back after 4 years and I'm happy about that. I realized with listening to his album how different hip-hop is now. It seems that a lot of the new hip hop is based off hit singles & punchlines. Eminem's album has a lot of wit and crazy stories. In my opinion he is one of if not THE greates rapper alive for the simple fact that he can rap about absolutly nothing and or anything and allow it to make sense. Most people who don't like Eminem really don't LISTEN or UNDERSTAND what he's saying or they believe he does some of the crazy shit he speaks about.. but whatever it's a great album and has grown on me a lot so yea thats all i want to say =d.

I try my best..

and that's the truth at least in my eyes. I feel I try my best in everything I do whether it's being a boyfriend, making music, being a good friend , or even just playing video games. I do feel though that in almost every aspect that I try to be the best in I'm severely tested by something or someone. Most of the time I also feel like I'm under appreciated over and over again. I'm not really looking for full blown recognition but maybe just a little bit of it or just a sign at least.. but anyway I downloaded Eminem's album.. no worries I'm going to buy it when it comes out I was just impatient because I've been waiting a while for this album about 4 years to be exact lol. There's two songs that I really love one is called Same Song & Dance and the other is called Beautiful. This song basically sums up how I feel sometimes. The name of that album period can sum up how I feel sometimes with the name RELAPSE. I do feel that sometimes I fall back after I improve on certain things but I'm getting better with handling it.
I wish I could put the audio up here but I can't due to infringement lol but the one I really wanted to point out was Beautiful read the lyrics..

Music is my life.

This moment right here almost a year ago Glow in the Dark Tour probably changed my whole life. I've always loved music with a passion and I think everyone who knows me know that. But this moment right here watching Kanye West do what he does inspired me to pursue my dream of actually doing music. The only concert I've ever been to yet the I'm sure no one will match it I don't even know if going to Kanye's next tour will top this. This sounds kind of gay but he touched me and really took my love for music to the next level. I stood there while Can't Tell Me Nothing played and he performed and everyone just glowing in the orange light waving there hands in the same motion to the beat and the music really blew me away. I pray I get the chance to do something like that. My old dream when I was little was to play basketball for the New York Knicks and help there bumb asses lol. But now my dreams of basketball have faded so my new standard for myself is to sell out Madison Square Garden my own city have all my family friends and loved one there and blow the world away.. I pray to God I get that chance.

For you..

I want to take this time out to tell my Grandmother I love her. I swear she's the strongest woman I've ever met and I don't know if I 'll meet another woman as strong. Raising seven kids from poverty and bringing them to the U.S. for a better life from Panama. I lost her April 24th, 2009 few days before her birthday which was April 29th , 2009. She was the tree, rock and cornerstone of this family and brought it on her own back and two feet to where it's at today. Every piece of success that I wanted to achieve was not only for me but to get her out of the hood of Brooklyn so that I can give her everything she's ever dreamed of. Little did I know is that she had everything that she wanted because each one of her kids became successful and are alive and well without struggle. She did all of this alone without a man in her life. I'm going to miss her but I know that she's smiling down watching over all of my family. I love you Grandma and best believe I'll do everything in my power to be successful and reach my dreams because I know giving up is the furthest thing that you'd want me to do and I won't I'll go until I can't go anymore for the families sake and mine. Never to be forgotten is what you'll be. See you later.
